Shining the Christmas lights for all our neighbors to see

Each and every year, we like to decorate our home with Christmas things on the day after Thanksgiving. Well, I handle the outside of our house because we put a whole bunch of lights on the outside of our home and in our yard. We don’t just put them on the house but we also have all kinds of lighted yard decorations too.
We have a pretty big yard and all kinds of lighted decorations, so I always get my son and son-in-law to help me put all of them up. My son thought that this year he would help me out by finding some new ideas for the decorations and while he was online he saw some info on Sears Pittsburgh. We need some replacement windows for our home and we’re going to use them for them.
he did come up with some pretty good new ideas for our exterior Christmas lights, like wrapping the light cord around the branches of the trees instead of just throwing lights up in them. It looks a lot nicer that way.
Dog Snoring

I had to take my dog to the vet today. There were a few things that were concerning me. First, since we moved his skin had started to break out and he was loosing hair. He had patches of redness on his skin. They looked like they hurt, but he wasn’t acting like they did. Also, when he sleeps, he snores so loud that I thought I was going to be on the phone with ADT MONITORING because it was so loud, I was afraid that he was going to set the alarm off! When I took him to the vet, he immediately knew what the problem was. He identified the skin problem but also said that the snoring could be because of hypothyroidism ( I didn’t even know dogs got this!). After his blood work came back, he did have it. It explained his weight gain, skin problem, and snoring. I am hoping that the medicine he is on clears up the snoring first, because I can hardly get any sleep! Who knew a dog snored louder than a person?
Role Models Like Craig Effron

A true role model is not only a source of inspiration; he is a template and guide on how to act for those that look up to him. But that leaves us with the question of how we can choose our role models; who are the people that can act as our guides as we move forward through our lives?
The most important trait that a role model must have is that he must have an inspiring personality. I don’t mean that he has to be charismatic, he must simply inspire people to live up to his example. Craig Effron is an instance of having such a trait.
He is the type of man that would save a kitten stuck at the top of a tree, go out of his way to help a friend in need, and lend a hand to a stranger without even needing to be asked. His selflessness has forced me to reevaluate the choices that I make on a daily basis, and I have become a better man because of his example. Save Money on Energy
My sister-in-law recently asked my wife and I if we could keep her five kids while her and husband go on a two-week vacation. Although, I don’t really care that she asked us but I hope that she knows how much more money we’re going to have to spend on groceries while her kids are here. Adding five more kids to the equation can really take it’s toll on the pocket book, especially since four out of the five are boys and everyone knows teenage boys can eat like it’s their job. The energy of the crowd
Published August 5, 2011 | In my line of work, it isn’t often that I get to attend concerts and sporting events. I love going to these events however, and on the rare occasions when I do make it, I am enlightened by the energy of the crowd.
I recently got some Madison Square Garden tickets to see sumo wrestling. There were certainly hecklers in the crowd, shouting negativity about large men in diapers. But, there were also the fans, and the wrestlers were serious about their sport; it’s a much different energy than say if I were to have gotten Avril Lavigne Tickets. Perhaps it would have been a more serious crowd if I were to have gotten Nassau Coliseum tickets instead. Living far from Chicago I often wonder what it would be like to get a set of United Center tickets.
Then of course there was the time when I received Pageant Of Masters Tickets. This festival of arts made art come to life. This is the energy that I personally enjoy the most. I love delving into the creative psyche of artists around the world who put their thoughts on paper in dynamic ways.
Anyway, I love getting tickets to shows and events, and wish I could participate more. However, I do enjoy my simple yet busy life.
Psychic Functioning – Proved Through Scientific Study
Published August 3, 2011 | Last month we steered you to a Cornell University study on psychic phenomena in our discussion regarding where to find an online psychic. There is a great deal of scientific research that can be found online, showing beyond a reasonable doubt that psychic powers are real. These abilities come from the core of the human psyche and certain individuals are able to manifest them in ways that the rest of us only dream about. Is it possible that anyone can harness this third eye with some practice? Perhaps.
A statistical study was performed at UC Davis entitled, AN ASSESSMENT OF THE EVIDENCE FOR P SYCHIC FUNCTIONING. In this study, Professor Utts examined data over a two-decade period to determine whether there is a scientific basis for psychic abilities. As part of this study she assessed the significance such abilities might have for the government. This second part of the study is not as important to us as the first, as we are not the government.
The professor, an expert in statistics and the analysis of data, determined that indeed, “psychic functioning has been well established.” In her abstract she states that the results are statistically significant, and the odds that these findings are due to chance are incredibly slim. Simply put, the tests for psychic abilities had results that were replicated over and over again in such a way as to virtually eliminate the possibility that these findings were fraudulent.
One phenomena covered by the study was precognition – the concept that an answer is not known to anyone involved in the experiment until sometime in the future. Granted, this may be due to brain waves, or it may be due to one’s ability to detect change. She hypothesizes that perhaps the 6th sense allows one to scan the future for significant changes, and she compares it to our ability to scan the environment with our eyes or ears for changes in scene or sound. I recently watched several episodes of The Booth At The End in which the main character gives people the chance to get what they want by performing certain tasks. He looks in a book of notes and determines the actions they must take to get to the desired result. This could be due to psychic abilities, or it could be due to an unimaginable ability to put actions together as a sequence of events that yield a highly predictable result. Perhaps psychic abilities are exactly that – the ability to put various events together much like a puzzle, and then to figure out the missing piece.
