In today’s troubled times it is more important than ever to have role models for others to look up to. A true role model is not only a source of inspiration; he is a template and guide on how to act for those that look up to him. But that leaves us with the question of how we can choose our role models; who are the people that can act as our guides as we move forward through our lives?
The most important trait that a role model must have is that he must have an inspiring personality. I don’t mean that he has to be charismatic, he must simply inspire people to live up to his example. Craig Effron is an instance of having such a trait.
He is the type of man that would save a kitten stuck at the top of a tree, go out of his way to help a friend in need, and lend a hand to a stranger without even needing to be asked. His selflessness has forced me to reevaluate the choices that I make on a daily basis, and I have become a better man because of his example. Save Money on Energy
My sister-in-law recently asked my wife and I if we could keep her five kids while her and husband go on a two-week vacation. Although, I don’t really care that she asked us but I hope that she knows how much more money we’re going to have to spend on groceries while her kids are here. Adding five more kids to the equation can really take it’s toll on the pocket book, especially since four out of the five are boys and everyone knows teenage boys can eat like it’s their job. The energy of the crowd
Published August 5, 2011 | In my line of work, it isn’t often that I get to attend concerts and sporting events. I love going to these events however, and on the rare occasions when I do make it, I am enlightened by the energy of the crowd.
I recently got some Madison Square Garden tickets to see sumo wrestling. There were certainly hecklers in the crowd, shouting negativity about large men in diapers. But, there were also the fans, and the wrestlers were serious about their sport; it’s a much different energy than say if I were to have gotten Avril Lavigne Tickets. Perhaps it would have been a more serious crowd if I were to have gotten Nassau Coliseum tickets instead. Living far from Chicago I often wonder what it would be like to get a set of United Center tickets.
Then of course there was the time when I received Pageant Of Masters Tickets. This festival of arts made art come to life. This is the energy that I personally enjoy the most. I love delving into the creative psyche of artists around the world who put their thoughts on paper in dynamic ways.
Anyway, I love getting tickets to shows and events, and wish I could participate more. However, I do enjoy my simple yet busy life.
The Idol Auditions

About twice a year my favorite reality TV show comes to television. American Idol. Every week when it’s on I set down and watch the whole thing on satalie TV, that I got after seeing these www.cannonsatellite.com. American Idol comes on twice a week both on Wednesday and Thursday. I wish Simon Cowell could still host the show, but the new hosts are just as good.
My favorite aspect of American Idol is the auditions round. It’s the first part of the season, and it’s when the whole country has a chance to become the next famous pop singer. My favorite audition was when Adam Lambert blew the judges away with his performance of Bohemian Rhapsody. Adam Lambert made it through the entire show and came in second place when the season came to an end.
When American Idol first started about 11 years ago, Kelly Clarkson gave an audition that made her shine! She took that audition and made a wonderful career from it. I love American Idol because it gives people a chance to become famous for what they do best. American Idol is my favorite reality TV show ever.
